Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art
26 Wooster St.
The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art is the first dedicated LGBTQ art museum in the world with a mission to exhibit and preserve LGBTQ art, and foster the artists who create it.
The museum’s mission is to exhibit and preserve LGBTQ art which speaks directly to many aspects of the LGBTQ experience, and foster the artists who create it. We embrace the rich creative history of the LGBTQ art community by informing, inspiring, entertaining and challenging all who enter our doors.
