A Copy of A Copy, Graphic Design Exhibition

The first solo exhibition titled ‘A Copy of A Copy’ by Haejung Choi is opening at the Living Gallery Outpost, New York, NY. The exhibition covers her typographic and formal explorations featuring posters, books, and sculptures. As a graphic designer based in New York, NY, Haejung Choi has developed series of expressive typographic experiments that challenge the conventional rules of typography in graphic design.

A Copy of A Copy is a self-portrait that shows her passion for letters, words, forms, and color. The exhibition aims to widen the boundary of typographic approach in playful explorations between the lines of whimsical silliness and humor.

The opening reception will be 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at The Living Gallery Outpost, 246 E 4th St, New York, NY 10009.

Haejung Choi is a graphic designer based in New York, NY. She recently made her first debut at a group exhibition curated by Draw Down Books, These Posters are Fireworks, where she shared multiple poster designs which were featured on an article in Walker Art Center Magazine, The Gradient. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Graphic design. She is originally from Seoul, South Korea, where she has achieved BFA in Industrial design at Konkuk University.
