Exploring The Secret Tunnels, Rooftops, and Historic Rooms @ City College

Join New York Adventure Club for an exclusive behind-the-scenes exploration of the historic City College of New York (CCNY), the real-life Hogwarts of Manhattan.

Led by the school’s archivist, our one-of-a-kind experience throughout this historic campus will include:

  • An overview of the historic 1906 campus and its iconic New York Neo-Gothic buildings, which boast over 1,000 unique grotesques and gargoyles (more than anywhere else in the country!).
  • A walkthrough of many historic rooms, including the famed Great Hall.
  • A climb to several rooftops throughout the complex, including the bell tower, clock tower, and Architecture School with sweeping views of the NYC skyline.
  • A descent to the secret tunnels underneath the campus that have been closed to students for several decades.

*Please wear comfortable shoes as we’ll be doing A LOT of walking and stair climbing! Feel free to bring snacks a water bottle!
