Getting Closer: Nanna Heitmann and Myriam Boulos

Join ICP online to further explore the work behind our current exhibition, Close Enough: New Perspectives from 12 Women Photographers of Magnum. The conversation will also be broadcast live in the ICP Library for museum-goers to tune in. Reserve your museum ticket here and watch live (free with price of museum admission) in the ICP Library before or after visiting the exhibition on Saturday, January 7.

Photographers Nanna Heitmann and Myriam Boulos conclude the Getting Closer conversation series, with a discussion moderated by the curator of the exhibition, Charlotte Cotton, centered on their recent projects and insights into their dynamic installations. Heitmann will present her ongoing work made in Russia and Ukraine, on view for the first time since the current conflict began, and Boulos will discuss her multi-year project capturing tender accounts of the private lives and lived experiences of friends and strangers set within the context of the collective losses and traumas that emerge amid economic instability, violent revolution, and the devastating Port of Beirut explosion in 2020.
