Miro Magloire’s New Chamber Ballet

Choreographer Miro Magloire presents his New Chamber Ballet in two works to music by Claude Debussy on this 100th Anniversary of the great composer’s death.   Resident choreographer Constantine Baecher, a former member of the Royal Danish Ballet, will create a work to Debussy’s Children’s Corner for piano.  Magloire will repeat his “Two Friends,” to Debussy’s violin sonata.   Other dances are set to music by contemporary Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho.  All ballets have live music by pianist Melody Fader and violinist Doori Na.
