New York Festival Orchestra and Choir

The New York Festival Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Hideaki Hirai, joined by the New York Festival Chorus, will present “Spring Celebration,” a program of Mozart, Haydn, Handel, Kozaburo Hirai, Hideaki Hirai, and a collection of beloved Japanese childrens’ songs.   The delightful suite consists mostly of Japanese folk songs, with some adapted from foreign songs including Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and Good Night Ladies.   Conductor/composer Hirai has presented his three original operas in venues around the world, and was recently appointed Principal Guest Conductor for the Ensemble Wien Klang in Vienna.
