Sri Ramakrishna (born February 18, 1836 – and died August 16, 1886) was one of India’s great mystics and sages. His teachings are among the finest examples of Vanadate, one of the highest forms of Hindu Philosophy. His teachings lead to the formation of The Ramakrishna Order. With headquarters in Kolkata, the Order is one of the largest and most respected religious institutions in India today.
Whether you are of a different faith or would like to learn more about Hinduism or Ramakrishna, we encourage you to explore the work of Ramakrishna.
