‘Radio City Music Hall, NYC’s Great Art Deco Masterpiece’ Webinar

While over 300 million people have enjoyed performances at Radio City over the past 80 years, only a small number can say they’ve seen every inch of the art deco masterpiece. Now’s your chance for a virtual close-up of one of the world’s most famous venues, in a way few have ever seen before.

Join New York Adventure Club as we explore the incredible history of Radio City Music Hall — also known as America’s “Showplace of the Nation,” this stunning art deco music hall is still the world’s largest indoor theatre, and headquarters of the world-famous Rockettes®.

Led by former Radio City Music Hall tour director Jared Dembowski, our digital showcase of one of the country’s leading concert halls will include:

  • The origin story behind Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall
  • How the largest indoor theatre in the world was built during the midst of the Great Depression, and the ways in which it has evolved since opening night — both in its structure and performance offerings
  • virtual exploration of the Music Hall’s famous art deco spaces located throughout the building, including the magnificent Grand Foyer, auditorium, and famed Roxy Suite — the former private apartment of the Hall’s impresario, Samuel “Roxy” Rothafel, complete with a 20-foot gold leaf ceiling and quilted mahogany paneled walls
  • Rare archival photos and videos of Radio City Music Hall and its most historic performances

Afterward, we’ll have a Q&A with Jared — any and all questions about Radio City Music Hall are welcomed and encouraged!

Can’t make it live? Don’t worry, you’ll have access to the full replay for one week!

See you there, virtually! $10.
