Reimagine Opening: Virtual Vigil with Jack Kornfield + Guests
Join us to honor the dead, those who are sick, and all of us on the planet. For this free virtual event, please bring a candle. This is the official kickoff of Reimagine: Life, Loss & Love.
The Virtual Candlelight Vigil will be co-created by all those joining with candles on Zoom. It will feature some of the world’s most inspiring spiritual leaders—Buddhist meditation luminary Jack Kornfield, Rabbi Sydney Mintz of Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco and Reverend Corey Kennard, Pastor of Amplify Christian Church in Detroit. The ceremony will also include earth art from Day Schildkret of Morning Altars, live music by Amber Field, contributions from health-care advocate and author Katy Butler, and words from Reimagine founder Brad Wolfe.
If you can, please show up ten minutes early with a candle to honor those we’ve lost and those that are suffering during this difficult time. Our hope is for this invitation to become a monthly occurrence, helping spark other rituals and fostering a deeper sense of togetherness in the face of what is both separating and connecting us all.
This event marks the official opening of Reimagine: Life, Loss, & Love, a virtual festival and worldwide conversation around embracing life, facing death, and loving fully during COVID-19….and beyond.
