Baptist minister CURTIS BOYD relinquished the pulpit in the 1960s to become a doctor who worked with a group of ministers in Texas to provide thousands of safe, illegal abortions prior to Roe v. Wade. This rarely-seen film tells his powerful story. It was originally aired in 2004 on the PBS Independent Lens series.
