Communities Mobilizing Against Modern Day Slavery: Focus on Asia America

Human trafficking is the fastest growing international crime industry, already valued at more than $30 billion. It occurs throughout the U.S., with the top states being California, Texas, and New York. At Communities Mobilizing Against Modern Day Slavery: Focus on Asia America, a conference organized by the Asiamerica Mission to End Modern Slavery, a program of the Episcopal Asiamerica Ministries in collaboration with Gabriela New York and the National Alliance for Filipino Community, supporters and advocates will join Filipino trafficking survivors to discuss this fundamental violation of human rights and transnational strategies towards ending trafficking and forced labor.
