Chen Dance Center presents “newsteps,” its semi-annual emerging choreographers series.  Since 1994, the theater has supported and presented over 250 artists developing new work. Choreographers selected to present their work in May are Ezra Goh, Sarah Richman, Jiayin Goh & Guidong Zhou, Megan Harrold, and Jia-wei Zhu.   Each receives a stipend, along with rehearsal space and three public performances at Chen Dance Center, 70 Mulberry Street in Chinatown.
