Pop Life: Ruscha’s Ribbon Words
Edward Tyler Nahem gallery will host a lecture by Alexandra Schwartz, “Pop Life: Ruscha’s Ribbon Words,” where Schwartz will discuss Ed Ruscha’s iconic ‘ribbon word’ drawings created in the late ’60s and early ’70s incorporating gun powder and pastels.
Alexandra Schwartz is the Founding Curator of Contemporary Art at the Montclair Museum of Art and the author of Ed Ruscha’s Los Angeles, MIT Press, 2010.
