Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky have translated the works of Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Chekhov, Pasternak, Bulgakov and Gogol, and have twice twice been awarded the PEN/Book-of-the-Month Club Translation Prize, for The Brothers Karamazov and Anna Karenina. They are now taking on Russia’s great poet, “the Father of Russian Literature,” in Novels, Tales, Journeys: The Complete Prose of Alexander Pushkin. Moderated by Billy Hough, of legendary punk band The Garage Dogs.
