Black Index Festival

Black Index is an all-day festival of music, performance, and community engagement, featuring the works of artists, activists, and academics alike, innovating new voices of the American experience. With intentions of activating various spaces throughout the center, we will have moments of performance, panel discussions, and a market founded in outreach and information. Visually and experientially we will employ aesthetics rooted in themes of “blackness” and indexical, and archival history.
