The New York Scandia Symphony, under the baton of director Dorrit Matson, will celebrate the music of Danish composer Niels Gade on this 200th Anniversary Year of his birth.  In a program entitled The Danish Golden Age, the 50-piece orchestra, joined by guest violinist Stephanie Chase, will perform some of the most extraordinary music created during this very unique chapter in Danish cultural history.
