Join us as we welcome celebrated transgender author, performance artist, playwright and public speaker Kate Bornstein. The writer of multiple award-winning books in the fields of women and gender studies, her works have provided a daring re-envisioning of the gender system as we know it.

Affectionately known as Auntie Kate, she has earned two citations of honor from the New York City Council and garnered praise from civil rights groups around the globe.

Most recently a co-star on the E! TV’s reality series, “I Am Cait,” she looks beyond the binary to see gender as a conscious practice and playful journey.
