Farshid Moussavi, RA, RIBA, is Founder of the London-based international practice Farshid Moussavi Architecture (FMA) and Professor in Practice of Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She will share her thoughts on a new approach to architecture based on her research, experience of working on the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, and her recently completed residential projects in Paris and Montpellier. Moussavi has published three books based on her research and teaching at Harvard GSD: The Function of Ornament, The Function of Forms, and The Function of Style. She serves on design and architecture advisory groups internationally and her work has received numerous awards including the Enric Miralles Prize for Architecture, six RIBA Awards, the 2004 Venice Architecture Biennale Award, and the Charles Jencks Award for Architecture.
