Maha Sadhana Workshop with Sri Dharma Mittra
Get ready to deepen your yoga practice in this three-hour workshop with world renowned Yogi Sri Dharma Mittra and help the fight against Breast Cancer.
Grab your yoga mat for an in-depth, fun filled, and enlightening experience to celebrate the lives of those affected by Breast Cancer at this very special three-hour yoga intensive on Saturday, October 21 at 3pm at the Dharma Yoga Center in Manhattan.
Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, everyone is encouraged to come together to practice. Each yoga pose you take is one step closer to a cure.
A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit The Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Called “Maha Sadhana” or “Great Practice” in Sanskrit, this program is taught by 78-year- old legendary yogi Dharma Mittra himself. Prepare to soak it all in, as well as invigorate the body and mind in a powerful asana practice. Breathing practices will calm your mind (Pranayama), followed by a guided meditation (Yoga Nidra) to rejuvenate, refresh, and revitalize your entire system. The program concludes with his signature uplifting Asana Satsang Jam: Students join each other in a large circle, and those that wish may offer their favorite postures to the teacher, the higher self, and each other. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
