Howl! Happening and Mimi Stern-Wolfe’s Downtown Music Productions presents a performance of two innovative compositions from the 1920’s: the 1923 La creation du monde by Darius Milhaud, and Mahagonny Songspiel (1927), by Kurt Weill, text by Bertolt Brecht, in an English translation by Michael Feingold.  Joining the Downtown Chamber & Opera Players are singers Karla Simmons, Darcy Dunn, Charles Calotta, Jorrell Williams, and Charles Carter.  Performance is a benefit for the Actor’s Fund.
