Limon Dance Company

The Limon Dance Company, one of the world’s great modern dance companies since its founding in 1946, returns to The Joyce with a program that includes one of Limon’s masterworks, “Missa Brevis,” staged and directed by Kristen Foote and Clay Taliaferro.   Also on the program is Limon’s “The Unsung,” his homage to the Native American as warrior, victor, victim and visionary, created for an all-male cast.  Artistic Director Colin Connor will premiere his “The Body is a House Without Wall,” created for an all-female cast. Ever supportive of young choreographers, the Company will also present works by Adam Baruch, Rosie Herrera and Yin Yue.  For specific programs please visit the website at www.limon.org
