“When a mother dies,” author Hope Edelman writes, “a daughter’s mourning never completely ends.” Death educator Amy Cunningham and Park Slope-based psychotherapist Ellen Krug lead an enlightening conversation for motherless mothers with children of any age to discuss child rearing, grieving, and rituals of remembrance. The presenters will discuss ways in which we can find the wisdom in mourning and in the celebration of life. Q&A will follow.
This program is presented in partnership with Park Slope Parents.
