Unity Earth: Liftoff!

Unity Earth, a global network of creators working towards world peace, is launching its U.S. tour with a special performance event this February 2nd in New York City. Bringing together musicians, activists, indigenous leaders, and interfaith representatives, the all-ages event is part of the United Nation’s World Interfaith Harmony Week. Building on years of international productions by Unity Earth, this event brings together a host of interdisciplinary performers who fuse music, dance, projected video, and participatory engagement. Set in the historic United Palace, an original “Wonder Theater” built in Washington Heights in 1930, the event takes advantage of a rich fusion of Eastern and Western decorative motifs as the backdrop for a worldwide celebration of peace and collaboration. International headliners include audiovisual performance troupe BELLA GAIA, British raggae legend Pato Banton, and Chinese chanting artist Mystic Voice. The event also brings major NYC-based talents to the stage, including hip-hop performer Akim Funk Buddha and Julliard-trained vocalist Kristin Hoffman.
