Buddhism for Beginners: An Introduction to Tibetan Buddhism

Tibetan Buddhism is a form of Buddhism that developed in Tibet and spread to neighboring countries of the Himalayas. Join Demo Rinpoche, Jewel Heart’s Resident Spiritual Advisor, as he introduces us to the unique methods and insight that Tibetan Buddhism offers our world today.

In this evening session at Jewel Heart on Tuesday, March 26, Demo Rinpoche will guide us through the Tibetan Buddhist approach to mindful meditation which includes both concentration (jo gom) and analytic (che gom) meditation. These approaches rely on focus, analysis, and visualization techniques to help individuals realize their true potential.

Please note: Tickets are free, but there is a $10 suggested donation. You will receive a copy of the latest issue of Tricycle with admission.
