Join us for an evening of sensory experiments that deconstruct “romantic spark.” Throw on blindfolds and unlock the science of attraction with Guerilla Science, beneath the Space Shuttle Enterprise. Think you might want to go to Mars one day? Find out what might be the key to pairing up for a long-term space trip. Through a series of interactive rounds, we’ll explore how sight, touch, taste, smell and movement influence romantic desires, and how you can spice up date night, or even prepare for a voyage into the cosmos, with a new friend or your significant other. No matter where you are in your journey of love or in the universe, this playful evening will have something for you to experience, enjoy, and discover.

Those who are looking to meet new people will be seated in specific sections. Other attendees will be seated with friends or partners for the duration of the evening.

Hosted by Chris Duffy, a comedian and staff writer for Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas on HBO. He’s also the creator and host of You’re the Expert, a live show and podcast where three comedians try to guess what a scientist studies all day.

Wine and beer available for purchase. Ages 21+.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the event, we discourage bringing large backpacks or bags. Make sure to keep valuables on you throughout the entire evening. There will be hangers to place your coats by the entrance. If you choose a “Singles” ticket, you will be shifting around the room, sometimes blindfolded, so please keep this in mind.
