ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
YAEGY PARK, violin
Yaegy won her first violin competition at the age of 3. In 2015, she was named a Young Arts Winner and a semifinalist of the Presidential Scholars. Her notable achievements include prizes in the Louis Spohr International Young Violin Competition, the Stulberg String International Competition, 1st place in the International Russian Rotary Children’s Music Competition and American Protégé International Competition, among many more. She has performed on the NPR show From the Top, and been a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
Bo-Kyung Park, piano
Ms. Park has established a career as collaborative artist, chamber musician, and coach specialized in instrumental ensemble. She is an in-demand duo partner who performs with internationally renowned artists, members of America’s leading orchestras and gifted young musicians. Concerts have brought her to such venues as Carnegie Hall, Metropolitan Museum, Alice Tully Hall, Steinway Hall in New York and other concert halls in Canada, Europe and Asia. She has served as staff collaborative pianist at the Juilliard School, Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, Aspen Music Festival, Bowdoin Music Festival, Great Mountain Music Festival, and artist/faculty at the International Music Festival and Academy in Tenerife, and has performed at Sarasota and Chautauqua Music Festival. She studied at the Juilliard School on full scholarship and the Cleveland Institute where she was awarded the Rosa Lobe Memorial Award in recognition of the highest level of artistic achievement in chamber music.
