Cat Call: Reclaiming the Feral Feminine Book Release

Throughout history, the feline and the feminine have been viewed as demonic contagions to be destroyed, erotic enigmas to be dominated, and liberating identities to grasp for agency. Join Witches, Sluts, Feminists author Kristen Sollee and a variety of Brooklyn witches, writers, and cat ladies to explore conceptions of the “feral feminine,” and to celebrate the release of Kristen’s new book, Cat Call: Reclaiming the Feral Feminine. The event will begin with a devotional ritual to Bastet led by Sarah Potter, followed by readings and a book signing.

***For those interested in helping us build a temporary altar to Bastet for the event, feel free to bring any cat-adjacent materials to add that speak to you***

Readings by:

Dia Dynasty
Dianca London Potts
Shannan Herskovits
Suzannah Weiss
