As night descends across Brooklyn, step through The Green-Wood Cemetery’s iconic Gothic Arch into an unforgettable experience of ethereal sights and sounds. Guided by thousands of flickering candles and the light of the silvery moon, you’ll wander along Green-Wood’s winding paths and have chance encounters with musicians, performers, moving images, and storytellers. This year’s theme – lovesick – celebrates the pleasures and pains of romance, and the impermanence of all the things that we hold dear.
“Nightfall” will take place on Friday, October 25, 2019 and Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 8:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. set against the stunning backdrop of one of New York City’s most historic and storied landscapes.
The creative team for this event includes Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, Death of Classical, Morbid Anatomy, The Moth, Pioneer Works, and Rooftop Films.
NOTE: You must be 21 years or older to attend; I.D. required. Attendees will be walking through the Cemetery at night, appropriate attire and footwear is recommended. Programming on both nights is identical. Tickets are only valid for the date of the reservation (you may not switch nights). We regret that the venue is not handicap accessible.
Each ticket is for one of the evenings. Reservations are recommended. If the event is not sold out, walk-ups will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rain Date: Sunday, October 27 2019
