Abortion Is Normal Closing Talks at Arsenal Contemporary

Abortion is Normal Part 2, sponsored by Downtown for Democracy, ends on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Arsenal Contemporary (214 Bowery).

To conclude the exhibition, Arsenal Contemporary will be hosting several talks in which artists and writers will be discussing politics, arts, women’s health and their convergence in this fraught political moment.

Talks programming at Arsenal Contemporary will include: readings from Choice Words: Writers on Abortion and A Womb of Violet Collective, a discussion about deliberate visual activism with Laurie Simmons, Xaviera Simmons and co-curator Jasmine Wahi and a SNATCHural History of Copper with Marisa Morán Jahn.
