With Matthew Brensilver
Due to COVID-19, this program will now be offered online only. Those who already registered for the in-person program will automatically be transferred to this online program. All registrants will be emailed the link to the online program a few days prior to the program.
In what ways does mindfulness practice function as a kind of ‘self-psychotherapy’? In what ways is practice entirely unlike psychotherapy?
During this evening together, we will explore how mindfulness overlaps with the healing we find in psychotherapy: it supports self-understanding, uncovers behavioral patterns and transforms how we relate to our past. Unlike traditional psychotherapy, however, the mindfulness path relies on states of concentration, letting go and surrender that point to cultivations beyond typical psychotherapeutic aims.
All are welcome.
Registration:
Registration will close 6pm ET, Friday, March 27th.
We are transferring all who registered for the in-person program to the online program. For those who are unable to join us online and considering cancelling their registration, we will honor all requests for refunds. However, the COVID-19 emergency has a devastating financial impact on all of us. If it is affordable for you to have a generous heart, please consider accepting credit towards a future program, or turning your registration into a donation. Thank you!
Please register at the highest level that your generosity offers.
