Atlas Obscura: Oregon Trail Live
Saddle up! Oregon Trail Live is taking you on a journey down your favorite historic overland route. Hosts Kylie Holloway and Michael Salgarolo are two comedians and public historians who are obsessed with the weird, wacky, and often wild history of the Oregon Trail. On each show, they’ll bring you wild stories of the hidden locations, unexpected characters, and the forgotten, fascinating stories that definitely weren’t in your history books.
Kylie Holloway is a performer and live events producer who uses comedy to celebrate the forgotten women of history and artists you should know about. She is an in-house producer at Caveat where she runs the Nevertheless She Existed live show and podcast as well as Ride or Die: Oregon Trail Live and Blood in the Water: Drag Queens and Scientists Roast Sharks. You can catch her onstage as Art Expert In-residence at Modern Whitney or as a tour guide at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and museums across the country. Follow her at @kylieholloway_
Michael Salgarolo is a PhD candidate in History at New York University and a former Big Onion Tour Guide.
