Real 2.0: Artists Discuss Immersive Art in the Virtual Landscape

Pratt Manhattan Gallery is pleased to announce a panel discussion in conjunction with its current exhibition, Hsin-Chien Huang: The Data We Called Home. The panel takes place on January 30th, 6:30 PM at the Pratt Manhattan Campus, Room 201.

Moderator Barbara London will lead a discussion examining artists’ use of virtual reality with Mattia Casalegno, Hsin-Chien Haung (via Zoom), and Rachel Rossin. The group will interrogate the medium of VR, addressing questions such as: Can art be virtual? Does the virtual contradict the real? And what is the future of the medium?

Real 2.0 is free and open to the public; advance registration is required.

The exhibit is on view through March 4, 2023. Admission is free; advance registration is not required. Visit Pratt Manhattan Gallery in its newly renovated ground floor space, Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm.
