Join Jake Bittle, author of The Great Displacement: Climate Change and the Next American Migration, in conversation with journalist Zoya Teirstein for a fascinating look at how America has changed and will continue to change as climate change wreaks havoc on the nation and the people who live there. Selected by NYPL as one of the best books of 2023 and shortlisted for the 2024 Carnegie Medal for excellency, you do not want to miss this timely discussion on this important book for our community and troubling times. This is an in-person program.

About the Presenters:
Jake Bittle is a journalist based in Brooklyn who covers climate change and energy. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Harper’s Magazine, and a number of other publications. He is also a contributing writer for Grist.
