Gambian kora player Malang Jobarteh and NY-native pianist Chelsea Randall present “Passages’—a unique collaboration featuring West African and modern African kora music and Western piano music.  Jobarteh will perform a suite of traditional West African music and original compositions for kora.  Pianist Randall will perform music by Fred Onovwerosuoke, Philip Glass, Nkeira Okoye, and John Adams.  Admission by contribution – suggested is $20.
