Today Deli Radio invites Architect Khloe Swanson, sound artist Kafilah M, and filmmakers Serene Murad and Helen-Klass Warch of the Palestine Before Project who will host an interdisciplinary event examining architecture, archives, and Palestinian resilience. The program features Swanson’s lecture on her work with the Secret Poster Club a Columbia GSAPP initiative fostering daily engagement with issues of colonialism, war, and systemic oppression through poster-making. Swanson will also connect the poetry of June Jordan to themes of Palestinian resistance. Kafilah M will curate a screening of a documentary by Murad, Dina Amin, Warch, and Tamara Hazou, exploring Palestinian narrative history, alongside music by DJ and multidisciplinary artist Zarina from 6-8pm. The event highlights cultural heritage and archival practices as vital to preserving collective memory.
