2016 gwn awardsJoin us for the 2016 Girls Write Now Awards, where we honor influential women who have paved the way for our teens to realize their promise and the possibilities of change. Confirmed honorees include: Jenni Konner, executive producer, writer and directer of HBO’s Girls, and co-founder of LennyLetter.com; and Janet Mock, author, Redefining Realness and host of MSNBC’s So POPular!. Rounding out the evening will be emcee Alicia Menendez, anchor and special correspondent of Fusion. Under the leadership of our Host and Honorary Committees, our honorees join forces in one spectacular evening.

The 2016 Girls Write Now Awards will include a reception with open bar and hors d’oeuvres, the awards ceremony, a performance by a Girls Write Now mentor-mentee pair and the private launch of our 2016 anthology (R)evolution.

Festive attire is recommended.
