An evening of Mystical Journey is a concert-talk focused on the cross-cultural Sufi music and poetic heritage of the Middle East.

The Amir Vahab Ensemble’s mission is to foster awareness and appreciation of some of the world’s oldest cultures by showcasing the poetry and the folkloric and sacred music of the ancient Middle East, especially that of Persia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Armenia. The goal of this performance is to nurture a strong connection with the audience and thereby foster a deeper and better understanding of the cross-cultural heritage and shared humanity that fluidly crosses today’s geographic boundaries.
