4/16 – Why Trump is the President that America Deserves
Sure he’s scary. He’s racist and short-sighted. He’s blunt and lacking in subtlety. He’s appears to be more style than substance. He’s the embarrassing American tourist in Paris. He talks too loud. No one can control him. There’s no telling what he would do. He might just be the president we deserve. We can learn more from exploring what he tells us about our country than we do by yelling about what an asshole he is. Join us as we explore why he makes sense and what we might do to make a country where he doesn’t.
Michael D. Haltenberger has been teaching Religion at Hunter College for over ten years. He created and continues to teach the Seminar on Religion and Science as well as courses on Religion and Psychology and Religious Experience.
