AmpLit Fest
Lamprophonic and Summer on the Hudson are excited to present the third annual AmpLit Fest, a free, daylong literary festival in New York City that brings writers of all backgrounds, styles, and levels of recognition to center stage.
Just a few events we’ll be hosting throughout the day include readings, writing workshops, a community market, and a panel on how writers use their craft as political power to create social change. This year’s festival will feature celebrated writers and editors like Tomi Obaro, Jade Sharma, and Dennis Norris II. With all of the events from above and more, AmpLit Fest makes one of life’s most solitary acts — writing — a public celebration.
AmpLit Fest is co-produced by Lamprophonic and Summer on the Hudson. The festival will take place at Pier I at W. 70th St. and Riverside Park in Manhattan on Saturday, June 9 from 12 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
