Anabella Lenzu’s Listen to Your Mother: Film Premiere and Live Performance

The unique dancer/performance artist Anabella Lenzu presents her Anabella Lenzu/DanceDrama in her “Listen to Your Mother”, along with the premiere of the film of the same name, made possible by a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts.  The Argentinian native will be joined by her darling daughter Fiamma as she captures the underrepresented women who are mothers and artists grappling with the cultural differences of living in NYC.  Text is by Lenzu and Jerzy Grotowski; music and video by Todd Carroll.  The charming Lenzu has again created a work that is bold, unpredictable, and wise.
