May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we invite you to join us for an inspiring wellness event that celebrates the transformative power of art. This special event will feature personal stories from artists whose lives have been positively impacted by their creative journeys. Immerse yourself in a vibrant, safe space designed for healing, creativity, and connection.
The event will showcase live, interactive wellness installations and wellness stations, where you can engage with practices that promote well-being. Enjoy blood pressure screenings and IV hydration provided by Primary Care, and take part in a variety of activities aimed at fostering healing and wellness within our community. Dress comfortably to fully participate in all the free installations geared toward wellness.
In addition to the wellness activities, we will feature an art gallery in the main room, proudly highlighting The Black Women’s Emotions: A Collective Art Experience by Valerie Revolus. This powerful collection delves into the emotional landscapes of Black women, inviting reflection and connection through art.
Light refreshments and wine will be provided, creating a relaxing and engaging atmosphere to connect with fellow art enthusiasts and wellness advocates. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover how art has saved lives, and how it can continue to heal and inspire.
We look forward to seeing you there and creating a space of support, creativity, and wellness.
