MTA Arts for Transit & Urban Design is responsible for the contemporary visual and performing arts programming in New York City’s transit environment – a subway and rail system used by over 8 million people every day. Deputy Director Amy Hausmann will discuss the 28-year-old program, highlighting recent commissions and public projects that make up this vast underground collection. She’ll be joined by award-winning illustrator Marcos Chin.
