Artist Spotlight: Matthew Burcaw & Roy Secord

Mathew Burcaw creates installations and drawings with fine detail and expansive gestural form. He has had numerous exhibitions, but most recently was included in the Winter Salon, Denise Bibro Fine Art, New York, NY. He participated in the Artist in the Marketplace program from 2007 to 2008 and earned an MFA from Parsons School of Design in 2006. Roy Secord paints complex abstract geometries and systems and exhibits nationally and internationally. He is a recipient of a Pollack Krasner grant and a National Academy Abbey Mural & Public Works Fellowship. Secord co-founded and directored of the Collage/ Assemblage Society that provides exhibition opportunities and professional development for alternate medium artists. He is a Bronx resident and is a long term studio resident in Chashama’s Harlem Studios/ Gallery.
