Bang Bang Gun Amok II is a 24-hour performance marathon that addresses how gun culture is historically embedded in the United States, co-presented by Henry Street Settlement and University Settlement. Artists, activists, scholars, Lower East Side youth, and gun violence survivors unite in a spirit of solidarity to call for an end to a culture of violence. Featuring performances by Vernon Reid, Eva Yaa Asantewaa, Maura Donohue, Charmaine Warren, Edisa Weeks, It’s Showtime NYC, Suzanne Gardinier, Paz Tanjuaquio, Tyemba Jess, Nicky Paraiso, Irene Hultman, luciana achugar, Ella Wylde, Alex Vitale and much more.
Free admission for youth 18 and under, available at the box office day of event only Sliding Scale Suggested Donation: $5; $10; $15; $20 This event is 24 hours. Ticket holders are free to come and go as they wish.
