New York Times and New Yorker cartoonist Bob Eckstein will share his cartoons and show how he created his new book Footnotes from the World’s Greatest Bookstores, which was recently selected one of the Most Anticipated Books of Fall 2016 by The Wall Street Journal. He will discuss being the world’s only snowman expert and give attendees a chance to share their bookstore stories as well. His project to raise awareness for independent bookstores has been recently featured in Atlas Obscura, The New Yorker, Reader’s Digest,Parade, Publisher’s Weekly, The Wall Street Journal and many others.
