The Buglisi Dance Theatre launches its 25th anniversary season with two performances, May 1 & 2, at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 West 55 St. The resident company, which includes Virginie Mecene and Kevin Predmore, will also welcome guests Blakeley White-McGuire, former principal dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company, and Abdiel Cedric Jacobsen and Lloyd Knight, current Graham company members. Program includes a preview of Buglisi’s Moss #5 Variation: Dialogues on what makes us Human, to a score by composer Jeff Beal; and her exquisite Requiem, to the Faure Requiem.
