Building & Exploring Community Archives with Lee Jimenez

Learn and engage with visual storyteller, educator, and artist Lee Jimenez’s ongoing archival project ¿Y Tu Abuela Dónde Está?: An Audiovisual Narrative Series Exploring Boricua Identity, Migration, and Resistance at ICP on June 8 and 10.

Visitors are invited to stop by the ICP Library to engage with the project’s online archival material and resources, as well as watch short screenings from the project during Late Night ICP hours, and are invited back on Saturday, June 10 to participate and contribute to the archive in a group listening and recording session facilitated by Lee Jimenez.

This event will take place in the ICP Library on June 8 from 6- 7:30 PM and June 10 from 12-1 PM.

A ticket to this project does not include access to ICP’s galleries. Reserve your ticket to visit the ICP galleries and see the new exhibition, Love Songs: Photography and Intimacy, before or after exploring the project.
