Carter Burden Gallery Announces Holiday Pop-Up Bazaar Featuring the Work of Re-Emerging Older Artists

Unique works of art will be on sale at a pop-up “Bazaar” December 7 through 21 at the Carter Burden Gallery, located at 548 West 28th Street #534 in Manhattan.  The Carter Burden Gallery showcases the vibrant, cutting-edge and transformative art that is the product of the unique cultural wealth possessed by older professional artists.

 Art lovers and holiday shoppers will have an amazing opportunity to purchase the artwork and crafts designed and made by professional older artists ranging from ceramics (including decorative and functional wares), jewelry, prints, and textiles. There will also be paintings ranging in style from abstract works made in acrylic, oil, and mixed media on canvas and paper.

Many of the artists featured have previously shown work at the Carter Burden Gallery, including Kate Misset, Olivia Beens, Jackie Shatz, Ellen Gelber, Don Heau, Liz Curtin, Courtney Krings, Vera Sapozhnikova, Beth Barry, Robert Petrick, Mew Chiu, and Kevin Corbett Hill.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the artwork and crafts will support the Carter Burden Network, one of New York City’s oldest and most respected senior service and advocacy organizations.
