Celebrated author Edmund White joins us for a reading and discussion of his latest novel, “Our Young Man.”

This new work, by the author of such classics as “A Boy’s Own Story” and “The Beautiful Room is Empty,” follows the life of a gorgeous Frenchman, Guy, who goes from unknown to the top of the fashion world and, like Oscar Wilde’s Dorian Grey, never seems to age. Surveying the full spectrum of gay amorous life through the disco era and into the age of AIDS, White explores the power of physical beauty to fascinate, enslave and deceive.
