Character Night is a one hour showcase of original characters, impressions, and bits featuring some of the most driven, imaginative, and funny performers here in NYC.
This month’s show is hosted by Kalynn Chambers (Amanda Seales Smart Funny & Black; Characters Welcome) and Christopher Morucci (All The Laughs Comedy Awards Best Original Comedy Song; DISCOunt; Duty Free Livel; Comedy Burlesque; BoogieMania; Boom Chicago Comedy Festival; Toronto Sketchfest) with performances by Aakash Kesavarapu (The New Roommates), Amanda Xeller (Montreal Sketchfest Lifetime Achievement Award), Brianna Lee (LA Indie Film Festival; A Very Sketchy Night), Ethan St. Germain (SNL Scholarship Recipient), Gus Mahoney (The Wig Pageant Variety Hour; BCC’s Mainstage Residency), Lily Blumkin (The Daily Show; 2023 White House Correspondent’s Dinner), and an improvised character by Julia Schroeder (Sounds Funny Radio; Megawatt; Changing Room).
